Regional Accounts Manager, Capax
Reporting to Sales and Key Account Manager in Holland, the position is responsible for the sale of Capax products in South China, Hong Kong and Taiwan; Performs all traditional account management responsibilities for all accounts in the assigned region. Will also be the Key Account Manager for TTI world-wide.
Major responsibilities: - Develops and executes (key-) account strategies. - Gains appropriate customer approvals of Capax products on existing/new products. Develops proposals to maintain and secure additional business. - Obtains maximum penetration of approved products. - Serves as full technical field representative. - Develops forecasts of existing and new products. - Develops new product design and performance specifications and market detail. - Monitors and reports on competitors activities. - Prepares and presents territory reviews (including bridges). - Maintains full communications with customers and Capax HQ through field sales call reports, monthly reports, E-Mails, projects follow-ups, phone calls, and other means available. - Negotiates pricing and contracts. - Gives direction to inside sales group on engineering requests, price requests, delivery requests, etc.
Requirements: - Degree in Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline, with a minimum of three (3) year's technical sales experience in switch industry or power tool industry - Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin. - Self motivating; Integrity; Ability to travel. - Analytical / judgement & decision making capability. - Customer focus; Has good negotiation/persuasion skills. - Drive for perfection.

- Develop & execute cost reduction projects. Understand and utilize Emerson tools such as eSourcing.
- Manage global supply base including relationships and performance. Identify performance issues and take corrective action.
- Work collaboratively with division buyers and transportation personnel integrate strategies and projects to meet the needs and objectives of the larger group. Identify improvement objectives for key suppliers in lead-time reduction, on time delivery improvement and inventory reduction.

Primary Objective of Positioin: - Provide supplier development leadership, technical expertise, and project management of performance improvement initiatives with suppliers. Coordinate supplier improvement needs with - Strategic Procurement, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Engineering and Operations personnel. Position will plan, develop and implement actions to drive continuous improvement at strategic suppliers.
Job Description: Lead supplier development projects for strategic suppliers: a) Improve supplier performance through the use of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Project Management or generally accepted quality improvement tools (FMEA, MSA/Gage R&R, Control Plans, Capability Analysis, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, Process Mapping, etc.) b) Develop technical expertise in one or more global commodities c) Identify technologies necessary for supplier performance improvement d) Develop measurements needed to monitor and ensure supplier performance improvement e) Conduct project briefings to upper-level management f) Develop/maintain supplier relationships
