Emerson Expands Zhongshan Facility by Phase Two Construction

Zhongshan, Guangdong (March 2008) – Zhongshan plant of Artesyn Technologies Asia Pacific Ltd., division of Emerson Network Power under Emerson (NYSE: EMR), expects to open its new production line in August 2008.
After a large renovation and infrastructure expansion project, the plant now covers an area of 27,500 square meters. The project’s construction was completed in January, 2008 and includes a main building and a living zone for employees, with canteens, entertainment space and a dormitory for 500 staff members.

This expansion will undoubtedly enhance the production capacity of Artesyn Technologies, and strengthen Emerson Network Power’s competitive advantage.
