Emerson Control Techniques Holds FY10 National Distributors' Conference and New Products Presentation

CHONGQING, CHINA,  November 28, 2009  – Emerson Control Techniques (“Emerson CT”) of Emerson Industrial Automation,  a division of Emerson (NYSE: EMR), held its FY10 National Distributors'  Conference and  New  Products Presentation in Chongqing.  Frederic Lambert, president of  Emerson  Industrial  Automation Asia-Pacific, CK Fong, president of Emerson CT Asia-Pacific, representatives of other divisions of Emerson Industrial Automation, such as Leroy-Somer,  EGS,  Power Transmission Solutions and Branson presented, and nearly 100 national distributor representatives and Emerson CT staff joined the event.   With a theme of “Communication, Integration, and Co-progression”, the conference this year had  a  relaxing  and  enjoyable  atmosphere. Frederic  Lambert  and  CK  Fong  both  gave  presentations and these were followed by a performance representing the cooperation between Emerson CT and distributors to achieve win-win results during the financial crisis through “communication”,  “integration”,  and  “co-progression” .

The Head of each department introduced and explained the main features and applications of the Mentor MP DC Drives, one of Emerson CT’s new product series.  In addition, there was a dedicated exhibition area for product samples, allowing participants to learn more about products and ask questions.  During the one-day conference, Emerson CT’s management reviewed and discussed business growth strategies. They also presented brass plates to distributors who will work with Emerson CT in FY10 as a symbol of the desire to continue making good progress and achieving great results through “communication and integration” in the coming year.
