Emerson Network Power Scales Up Regional Presence

MANILA, PHILIPPINES, September 11, 2009 – Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR) and the global leader in enabling Business-Critical Continuity™, today opened a new Solutions Lab and Regional Headquarters office at the Ortigas Center, in Pasig City, for the Asia-Pacific region.

“Our primary focus is always on our customers, and our new Solutions Lab is designed to help us further improve our customer service,” said Stephen Liang, president of the Emerson Network Power Systems business in Asia-Pacific, who presided over today’s ribbon-cutting ceremony. “IT and business professionals may visit the facility and experience best-in-class infrastructure, including the latest in power, cooling, enclosures and monitoring technology.”

The lab will be an active demonstration centre for Emerson Network Power’s Energy Logic framework and the recently launched OptimizeIT™ platform, said Anand Sanghi, vice president, operations, of the Emerson Network Power Systems business in Asia-Pacific. “Coupled with a cross-section of business competencies based in this office, our customers in the Philippines and throughout the region will find tremendous value in this facility,” Sanghi said.

As well as hosting the Solutions Lab, the new office is the regional headquarters for the Emerson Network Power Systems business and is designed to provide a higher level of business efficiency and responsiveness for customers and partners in Asia-Pacific.

As a regional hub, the Manila office manages operations across Asia-Pacific. It is structured as a centre of excellence for sales and services, key account management, logistics and supply chain, IT and technical services, and marketing and customer insight functions. These services span all countries in Asia-Pacific.
