Following the earthquake, 600 students have been living and studying in temporary shelter rooms where living conditions are subpar. The rebuilding is scheduled to be completed by the end of August 2009. Students will be able to study in new and safe classrooms when the new academic year starts.

Emerson, its subsidiaries and employees have donated and are committed to donate a total of RMB 11 million in cash and equipment to the disaster area.
